Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how US-GUNDEALS ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and discloses personal data when you use our price-comparison service (the "Service"). It applies to the Service and to your interactions with us.
1. Who We Are (Controller)
The Service is operated by Cantum UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Eulenkamp 25, 21465 Wentorf bei Hamburg, Germany, which is the data controller. Because we are established in the European Union, our processing of personal data is subject to the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable German law, in addition to any applicable US state privacy laws. You can reach us at info@us-gundeals.com.
2. Our Privacy Principle: Data Minimization
We aim to collect as little personal data as possible. The Service is an informational price-comparison tool: you can browse and compare offers without creating an account, and we do not require you to provide your name, address, or payment details to use it.
3. Data We Process
- Technical and log data. When you visit the Service, our hosting infrastructure automatically processes limited technical data needed to deliver and secure the site, such as your IP address, browser type and version, the pages you request, referring URLs, and the date and time of access. This data is used for security, abuse prevention, and operating the Service, and is retained only as long as necessary for those purposes.
- Strictly necessary cookies. We store small, essential cookies to make the Service function and to remember basic interface preferences. See our Cookie Policy for details.
- Information you choose to send us. If you contact us by email, we process the information you include (such as your email address and the contents of your message) to respond to and manage your request.
We do not knowingly collect special-category data, and we do not use the Service to profile you or make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
4. How and Why We Use Data (Legal Bases)
We use the limited data we process to:
- operate, maintain, and secure the Service, and prevent fraud or abuse;
- respond to your enquiries; and
- comply with our legal obligations.
Where GDPR applies, our legal bases are our legitimate interests in operating a secure and functional service (Art. 6(1)(f)), the performance of steps taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b)) when you contact us, your consent for any non-essential cookies (Art. 6(1)(a)), and compliance with legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)). We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.
5. Sharing and Recipients
We do not sell or rent personal data. We share data only with service providers that help us operate the Service (for example, hosting and infrastructure providers), each acting under contract and only as needed to provide their service; and where required by law, legal process, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.
6. International Transfers
We are based in the EU and some service providers may process data outside the EU/EEA. Where that occurs, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses) as required by GDPR.
7. Outbound Links to Retailers
When you click an outbound link to a third-party retailer, you leave the Service and that retailer's own privacy policy applies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites, and we encourage you to review their policies before sharing personal data with them.
8. Data Retention
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above or as required by law, after which it is deleted or anonymized. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security and operational purposes.
9. Your Rights (EU/EEA)
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting processing already carried out). To exercise any right, contact us at info@us-gundeals.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; in Germany this is the competent state data-protection authority.
10. Your Rights (US State Privacy Laws)
Depending on your state of residence (for example, California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, or Utah), you may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, and obtain a portable copy of personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information and of targeted advertising. We do not sell or share personal information and do not use it for targeted advertising. To make a request, contact us at info@us-gundeals.com; we will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
11. Children
The Service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision; material changes will be indicated there.
